Date: Thu, 15 Feb 2001 10:07:25 +0100 MIME-Version: 1.0 X-Mailer: Internet Mail Service (5.5.2650.21) Content-Type: multipart/mixed; boundary="----_=_NextPart_000_01C0972E.B6A01C50" Hi Steve, finally (!!) I can send you a new corrected version of the paper with all the programs that generated the figures and the figures (you will also find the datasets that I used to generate those figures). As you will read below, Figure 2 is missing at the moment. Note that I inserted a date in the first page as a reference in order not to confuse this last version of the paper with others (and I also changed the name of the file from SiZer2 to SiZer3). This date will have of course to be deleted when the document is finalised. I made all the changes suggested but I still have one problem with some figures. -For Figure 2, which refers to the simulation study for the Strikes data, I prefer your figure, as already mentioned in my previous email, but I have problems to run the program you sent me with the version of Matlab that I'm currently using (4.0 for Windows). Any suggestions (besides the one for me to try to adapt your program to my version of Matlab)? (for your convenience, I attached the files you sent me) -For the figures in which I wanted to use subscripts in the titles, again my version of Matlab does not allow me to do so, therefore I kept the old titles. Let me know if you receive everything correctly and if something is missing. Best, Vitaliana
